Children's
author Patti O'Donoghue does something spectacular in Princess Elizabeth Solves the Big Problem. In this
playful and creatively original fairytale, a young princess must stand up to
convention to solve an age-old issue of royal rules, daily diets, and loyal
circumstance.
When it comes to ruling her own kingdom, young Princess Elizabeth is ready to sink her teeth into the daily going-ons of Olive Mountain, where every man, woman, and child eats olives day in and day out. She is prepared to tackle anything that is thrown her way‑and, in this case it is good that she is not the ruler of Tomato Town because her loyal subjects are sick to death of olives. No one is throwing olives yet, but it could be that Princess Elizabeth is hot on the trail to figure out how to solve the big problem.
